Behind a Painted Smile This is the title I was given to produce a 7 x 7 inch painting for the Beep Painting Biennial 2024 long list exhibition, on the theme 'I Won't Stay in a World Without Love'. I usually work in thin layers on smooth panel, and I enjoying a more direct approach on oil paper.

This is another of my Antecedents paintings, I Know You Dig the Way I Switch My Style, 2023, oil on panel, 20.3 x 15.2 cm, I reworked her face during the summer to soften her expression.
