Bennett's oil paintings combine traditional techniques, contemporary resonances, and a knowing approach to her subjects and themes.
Jan lives and paints in South Wales, UK, producing artworks concerned with desire, infatuation, and the dynamics of power within intimate relationships and exchanges.
She studied Fine Art at University of Wales Institute Cardiff (Masters, 2003, practice-based PhD, 2013) and has exhibited in group exhibitions in Wales and England, and in Finland, Germany, and Japan.
